You are a Tier 5 Peculiar Animal, so cannot make a successful Attack. But despite being at the bottom of the Food Chain, it is impossible for you to die. Your home Habitat is the Kelp Forest. You cannot go to the Island Sands, but you can visit all the other Habitats. However, you must not spend consecutive Rounds outside your home Habitat. Your victory condition is: at least nine Animals must die across all four Rounds, out of the other twelve Animals. If 9, 10, 11 or even all 12 of them die then you will be victorious. However, if fewer than nine animals die, you will fail to fulfill your victory condition. Your special ability is: you are highly toxic, and any Animal who tries to Attack you will be poisoned. Instead of you being killed in the Attack, your attacker will die. (Unless some other rule prevents them from dying, in which case the Attack will resolve with nothing happening.) To get started: 1. Read through the instructions in the Acting Workshops thread about Food Chain. 2. Read the Episode 6 Format thread in the Play of the Week board. 3. DO NOT PM ANYBODY until you have read and understood the rules in the Miniature Parchments thread under Casting Notices. 4. Post the first version of your Habitat selection in your Decisions thread, too. 5. Spend the next 12 hours familiarising yourself with the format, and the game. 6. At some point during this Planning Phase, we'll come back here and post the result of your two Peeks.

I am stunned to see you alive, frankly, after the neglect that Cornley Crew has been putting you through ![:rolleyes](https://i.imgur.com/fJn0ul2.gif) up to and including those cruel Safety Chains! But the Blue Planet is here now to take over, so please lay back, relax, and then vent for us... ![:wineme](https://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/drink/t0325.gif) My first question is: How the #$@! are you finding this whole 'ORG' experience so far? Because we've seen the Production Logs, and we have concerns. But also great amusement. So how are you feeling about all of it so far? The BBC would like us to find out. For my next question: What was your role in those Safety Chains last Episode? Talk us through the decisions you needed to make. How did you decide to whom you would pass Safety? Did you expect to receive it from anyone in particular? For my third question: Were there any other decisions or passes which stood out to you as interesting or surprising? What else might you have learned from the process? And why you think Camille, Margaret and Skye were the victims left vulnerable at the end? And now, my last question: What is your strategy for the Food Chain game? How do you reckon your chances of meeting your win condition? Who are you hoping does not meet their win condition, and is left vulnerable at the end of the Episode? Finally, in return for (but in advance of) sharing your deepest secrets, I can at last confirm that your Peeking has revealed that:

I am going to watch the Genius episode to familiarize myself with this earlier, but I will share some of my initial thoughts on this if for nothing more than posterity.
I need lots of fish to die. To accomplish this, it's best that the predators stay alive for a bit. I need them to eat and kill! It'd be very bad if, for instance, the Orca tried to eat me and died immediately. But all the prey getting eaten isn't enough so I do need some predators to die. The Eel dying would be nice.
The thing I'm trying to figure out now is how open to be with my role. I almost wonder if it's better to reveal it? Because actually as I am looking at the kill possibilities for this... how the fuck can I win unless the predators are completely successful? They have a combined nine kill actions total, though technically three of the predators can kill more, but why would they? I suppose the Eel should be trying to hunt out the Sucker Fish, but I'm not sure why the Shark or Polar Bear would attack more than they have to. But if either of them do attack me early on I'm fucked. I think I definitely at least have to make the effort to find the Orca, so I will probably message Max as Crocodile and tell him my role for this. I need to help the Predators and hope they primarily attack Prey and not each other.

I had initially been thinking about how to navigate the habitats so as to hide my identity, which would have likely meant just going between two, but I don't want to hide my identity so I might just park in the Kelp Forest.

Apparently the person with this role in the Genius won so let me actually watch and see what he did.

Oh wait I am dumb, the middle two predators can't starve twice which means they have to kill three times, not two, and the Eel has to kill twice. That makes this way easier for me, lol

If all four predators survive three total rounds, that's eight kills guaranteed and they all would have to attack again in the final round. My goal has to be to keep as many predators alive as possible.

Yeah idk if I feel like watching this whole episode but I will be contacting Crocodile to tell him my role and hopefully he can find the Orca quickly.

I hadn't even thought of this, but the Genius has helped me realize that the optimal Eel strategy is probably to eat a lot and try to starve out the Lion, so I do increasingly think it makes sense for me to roleclaim?

I think it makes a lot of sense to just tell everyone I'm the pufferfish, but I'm only going to tell the Prosection. I'm okay if it leaks out, which it very well could, but I figure it at least leaves open the possibility of someone from the defense killing themselves on me and losing out on voting rights and really, beyond winning immunity myself, stacking the immune voters with prosecutors is one of the best scenarios. I should do what I can to help people I like win too.

If Crocodile dies I will assume that Richard is either the Orca or the Eel

The balancing act is tough here. I want to share information and be helpful in that regard, and maybe get some good information in return, but with the Eel already dying I don't want to give Scrooge any more information about the other predators than necessary. There are only six prey animals left that can be eaten, and for now everyone will stay away from not just me but the octopus as well, meaning there's only five options to choose from. The Orca needs to eat three more times and the other two predators need to eat five times between them. The Orca should be targeting the Shark and the Polar Bear first and foremost. If Crocodile dies I'll know that Richard is a predator, but if Scrooge is the Orca then I don't want him knowing that. He might know anyway, but in case he doesn't, I don't want to be the reason. Hopefully I can get it out of him, if not this round then next, since we'll be able to send MPs to each other next round.
Oh you know what, actually, even if Richard is a predator and Scrooge is the Orca, Scrooge won't be able to eat Richard next round anyway because Scrooge would have to go to the Open Ocean next round and Richard would have to go to either the Coral Reef or the Island Sands. So maybe it's fine to say it? I think I will still refrain in case he gets lucky and kills another predator next round. It'd be really great if there were five kills across the first two rounds. For the fourth round I will need to try to position myself so that I am with a predator.

I may move to the Open Ocean next round. I think a lot of the surviving prey is going to go to the Kelp Forest. It may end up that the Orca winds up in the Open Ocean alone with no food to eat. But rather than the Orca dying in vain, I could at least go with the Orca to prove that I am the Puffer Fish, that way no one will fear eating the Octopus. I'm not even sure I can still win if the Orca dies next round though. I would need the Polar Bear and Shark to kill in every round, and why would they?

It probably be in the rules somewhere that you couldn't send MPs once you've been attacked lol, alas
