Max as the Crocodile Dennis as Deer Head Jonathan as Ol' Neighbour Joe Sir David Suchet as NarratorWhen Episode 10 begins, we are going to add a new Actor into the Game: Meet Vanessa as Wise Man! But here's the thing... Wise Man is going to be played by: all four of you!  You will need to work together to post and send PMs as Wise Man, and try to make them as popular as you can. Nobody else will know who is playing Wise Man, and they will not be allowed to ask or compare theories about it. If Episode 10 ends with Wise Man voted out, then none of you will get to return to the Game.
However, if Wise Man survives the round, one of you will get to rejoin the Game as yourself, at the start of Episode 11.
Which one of you? Well that's yet to be decided. And I'll give you more information about that a little bit later. But for now the key is that none of you will get to return, if you do not do a good enough job as Wise Man. Right now the other players are still wrapping up Episode 9 (Suchet can give you details on how that worked). They do not yet know that Suchet has been eliminated. And they have no idea that any of you could yet return. But we've managed to sneak Suchet in here early, so that you can begin talking, planning and working on your new, shared rep. When Episode 10 kicks off, less than four hours from now, I'll post Wise Man's login details in this thread. And then you'll all be able to keep posting in here through the weekend, coordinating your efforts. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. But know that I won't be giving away anything about the Episode 10 Format - for the sake of fairness and something called 'Game Integrity' you'll only get to see that when the rest of the players do as well. |

You do not all need to use the account. But I'd imagine there is a better chance of Wise Man succeeding if you are all working together, in some capacity.
There may also be a transitional time, when we know who will be returning to the Game but it is not yet time for Wise Man to leave and the returner's original rep to return. And during that interval, only one of you would be left with any incentive to continue running the Wise Man account.

That's why you'll be able to communicate in this thread the entire time.
Also, you'll all have access to the account and its PMs. So you can quote/repost messages in here which would usually be a breach of the Rules outside of your Confessionals.

Hello old friends. Yes sadly I’ve been removed from the stage. Killed off, written out. My contract terminated. Well there is a first time for everything I suppose.
But before you ask it was not at the hands of my fellow thespians. Instead it was by my own. We had to do a challenge in an order we set (similar to the chain game) and first would have the most time and last the least time. There was an element of luck in the challenge. We were not told beforehand what our ‘time to beat’ was and alas I was far too methodical and took 8 seconds longer than I should have and now I find myself here surrounded by my old friends.
Max it is so good to see you again! I was so saddened to see you go and further that we did not get a chance to discuss the plate vote and my last missive to you in that regard. I hope you did not hold too much of a grudge.

As for this challenge, I would contend our best chance of success is for someone to take a strong lead in running the character while the others provide support through here and read everything that is said etc.
So we could perhaps agree that only one of us will post / PM but obviously everyone can go in and read what is happening and provide suggestions here.
I also expect Max will not want to break his shtick although I suppose we could have max lead that charge and just post everything using his shtick?
What we want here is for everyone to think the actor is the person they want to return to the game. There would be some support for Max is this but I would contend that I would be the one that everyone would want back.
I am going to be super up front about my game with you all because there is no point hiding it. One of us is getting back in so if that’s me I have no issue with you all knowing my game on the jury or if one of you gets back in based on my relationships then that’s also fantastic but I want one of us to get back in.
I am super tight with Scrooge and Diana. I have a 3 with Diana and Margaret, a three with Diana and Richard, a four with Diana and Richard and Scrooge, a 5 on top of that with Camille but that could easily swing around to a 4/3 with any of those others. I’m also pretty good with Trumpet and Annie.
I think that if they all think actor is me, then the actor doesn’t get voted out. And that means one of us gets back in.
Max is also an option though, he is beloved by Diana, Margaret and Scrooge but I cannot be certain on the votes of the other 4, 2 of which voted him out the first time. Camille also holds a slight grudge about max picking scroooge over her in the chain game and getting voted out the first time.
TLDR/ I can do all the work and then one of you might be back in on that basis.
Open to other options of course.

Head Righter Anything stopping me from just telling my allies that I’m the wise man and I need to a survive the round to get back in? Obviously could be a lie so I’d need to prove it so that would be easy enough. That doesn’t seem to be against the rules? Of course they might end up getting another coming back but if that’s the case whatevs, at least I got one of us here back in

That’s right no one voted for me. So on the basis alone we want them to think it’s me.
I do understand (I wasn’t there) that Max you only went because deer head was immune, but there will be some worried about you returning I feel

You think there is a chance people won’t want me back because I’m too much of a threat? That is possible for certain. I don’t think Diana or Scrooge will think that way because they see themselves as threats. Margaret I think is with me as well even though she is not one. But equally all three of them will have your back as well Max.
It is possible that the rest feel relieved that I’m am gone because I was so well connected and it gives them more room to move in the game. You are loved but not as outwardly threatening, although you have my vote at FTC if you are there just on the method Scott shtick alone, so I wouldn’t say you are without a threat level.
So a Max approach could work better? Query if they will know for sure it’s you to might think it’s someone pretending to be you?
I’ll be honest here with regard to our other friends if they think it’s Joe or Deer Head the wise man is going straight back out the door it entered in.
