![](https://i.imgur.com/smWmpfx.jpeg) I am screaming ![:<3](http://i.imgur.com/L3NpwEv.gif) Fun fact, I make awkward seal clubbing jokes at every opportunity because I once saw a (terrible) Comedy Festival act where the comedians were wearing T-shirts stylised like the I <3 NY ones, but with 'I ♤ CATS' and 'I ♣ SEALS' and I apparently never got over it.

A Game update for you all! ![:)](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png) The split 'Merge' round produced a lot of paranoia, but was the slower round I think everyone needed over the weekend, considering how Food Chain stretched out and how tense the next few rounds are likely to be. The Darling Children sent out the Crocodile, but Deer Head was the target most people wanted to vote out before he won Immunity so there was a scramble to decide who the backup plan should be. The Lost Boys were less cohesive and almost every name was thrown out at some point, but momentum slowly built for a Neighbour vote and him being offline for most of the weekend didn't help things. Now they're playing a tricky Format in which they're paired up. The two Pairs with the most votes will become vulnerable, arena-style. And then everyone will vote between the two members of the vulnerable pairs to decide who leaves... but if you voted to make a Pair vulnerable, you can't cast a vote between them in the latter stage. You guys can see the Pairs talking privately in the Secret Letter boards, as they can only PM in group chains with other Pairs. There's also a Challenge for Immunity and a tiebreaking power, except that we 'forgot' to post the rules to the Challenge so there's a lot of chaos and mess. I'll stick the link to it here once all the players have given it a try, but you can have a lot of fun perusing their attempts to figure it out, also in their Secret Letter boards.

So Justice needing to bow out and Deer Head being a consensus target kind of took the teeth out of the last Format. But the next three lined up are possibly the ones our Crew has been most excited for... even if the players are not reacting so positively to the Challenge-based one we just kicked off. It's an adaptation of a well-received format from Reindeer Games where everyone plays a Challenge, but the time limit to complete it in is reduced for every successive player to face it. Nice and tense ![:)](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png) For transparency, I'm going to stick those time limits here, before any of the players actually try the Challenge: Player 1 - 10:00 Player 2 - 8:30 Player 3 - 7:30 Player 4 - 6:30 Player 5 - 5:30 Player 6 - 4:30 Player 7 - 3:30 Player 8 - 2:00

This upcoming round is going to be an incredibly fun one to Lurk. I just posted the return task for the four eligible Critics - they'll be running a new account together and trying to survive Episode 10. And you'll get to see them coordinating and planning in the Edge of Redemption board ![:)](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png) And that is very much not even the half of it ![:ha](http://storage.proboards.com/7158043/images/VOvCOHdjdczxDlacdwiV.png)

Yes. We're doing a Mad Haus round ![8-)](http://images.proboards.com/new/cool.png) Everyone has fresh reps, and all the plans to stick together in majority alliances are now even more irrelevant than they were with the Challenge-based round ![:P](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png) Enjoy the weekend, everyone!

Well, the players are now entering a round of Claim to Fame where they're playing as both their original and Mad Haus accounts, and attempting to stop others from matching them up properly. So umm... a lot could go Wrong ![:ha](http://storage.proboards.com/7158043/images/VOvCOHdjdczxDlacdwiV.png) The Mad Haus round saw a group of players make a Final Four alliance, without knowing exactly who they all were? But also that kind of bond could come in handy for navigating this next Format. So it should be something interesting to track.

But also, I refuse to make any more accounts here until more people start appreciating how I managed to add a whole new set of player reps on Proboards without anything changing on the members list or the forum statistics ![:P](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png)

We're at Final Seven, but they're all playing two accounts in this round. So it may not feel like it, but this time tomorrow will essentially be the endgame.

Let's go with yes?
For the best look at how the dual rep Claim to Fame round played out, the three Set boards to read through are, in order: The Detour, BBC Control Room, and Past Trauma.
I'm a bit stunned and a bit impressed about how one group was able to come together and really seize control of it. Wimblegate was the one who came closest to throwing the Challenge, too, and making themselves a guesser. Which they probably should have, in hindsight? But Herod only switched the target on to them at the last moment - I was polishing off Toilet Bowl templates with Wimblegate's name on them, even, half an hour before the deadline. And had to hastily switch them to Richard.
Right now they're playing an adaptation of the board game The Alchemists. Which will earn four of them Safety, and put two of them into some kind of Death Match over the weekend... IYKYK.

~Tweet Tweet~ I've still been checking in from time to time. Sad this place got kind of dead with the other lurkers, but this has been a hilarious game to see play out. And to go back and read everything ![:<3](http://i.imgur.com/L3NpwEv.gif) This F4 is super amazing, but I still have to root for Sir David here.

I'm sorry too for not updating you all these last few rounds, but I've barely had time to stay on top of everything for the players. It is a really great F4 though ![:<3](http://i.imgur.com/L3NpwEv.gif) and I'll be super happy with any of them as winners. F5 was a point scale Format but with poetry and a secret Idol instead of regular Immunity. Scrooge was nominally the swing vote but I think was always going to stick with Diana/Suchet, and Trumpeter has been working with the three of them since the alt-rep round too so went along with tanking Camille once it was clear he couldn't save her. Right now they're playing an actual Survivor Final Four round. But a 'New Error' one ![:P](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png) So it's either the least Wrong of all fourteen Formats, or the most Wrong depending on how you look at it ![:lol](https://i.imgur.com/X4ixXao.gif) And right now I think all of them are more likely to spare a friend if they win Final Immunity, than spare a potentially easier beat come FTC. We'll see how it goes. Also worth watching is how the Critics eventually take in the news of just how close Scrooge/Suchet/Diana have been, and for how long. Those three have had a wildly different experience of most rounds than the rest of the cast, and a lot of that is yet to come out. Should make for a dramatic ending, and you know we love those! ![:ha](http://storage.proboards.com/7158043/images/VOvCOHdjdczxDlacdwiV.png)
