Robert as Justice Shawcroft Lucy as Lost Boy Tootles
This is a Challenge which the Actors are competing in this round. I'll need you both to play it also.
I want to be extremely clear that this Challenge will not determine whether you return to the Game. However, if you do manage to get back in then having played this Challenge could be extremely helpful. I know that's a bit opaque, but the regular Actors are also in the dark about what this Challenge actually accomplishes, beyond knowing that it will impact a future round.

Whether you have procured a team of lawyers for the Prosecution or the Defence, you are eventually going to have to pay them. Regrettably, the lawyers acting on behalf of the BBC have made this very clear to us on a number of occasions. And while we do not imagine that our bosses could possibly foot their legal bills with the modest income netted by our Play of the Week program, we have also experienced a large number of lawsuits filed against us by
In this Challenge you will therefore be helping us to pay our legal team, slowly and precisely because for whatever reason they do not trust us to use real money unless they see us count out every single coin and note right in front of them, one at a time. For instance, suppose that you were making the payment using these pieces of currency:

So you would need to start the count by posting one pound, like so:

Then you would need to post two pounds:

Then you would need to post two pounds:

(Note that you should always use as few coins as possible, so you should never present two £1 coins when you could use a £2 coin instead.)
Next you would post three pounds:

(The lawyers are also sticklers for proper order, so the currency must be posted with the most valuable coin on the left, then in decreasing value as you move to the right.)
Four pounds would then need to be posted like this:

Followed by five pounds:

And then six pounds:

And then six pounds:

By which point you hopefully get the idea.
But just in case, here is what eighteen pounds would look like, if you were to reach that high:

Of course these coins are for display only; in the Challenge proper you will receive access to the more modern coins and banknotes saved up in our savings box and set aside specifically to pay
There are a few final demands from our lawyers which you should be aware of:
- You can only post one collection of coins/notes at a time. You should post all the coins/notes needed to make up the sum next to one another, with no spaces or line breaks (if you use so many that they cannot fit on one line that is okay, by the technical legal definition this will not count as a line break).
- You sum of all the coins/notes you post must increase by one, in every post. If you skip a number or get the coinage incorrect (for instance, using two £1 coins instead of a £2 coin; or accidentally placing a £2 coin on the left of a £1 coin) then that post will not count.
- If you do accidentally skip a number or discover any other mistake, you must start over from the last valid sum you posted. So if you posted £1, then skipped to £3 and continued to post every number one by one up to £20 before you noticed that you'd skipped £2 - then because £1 was you last valid sum posted, you'd need to start over from £2, then £3, and so on. Note that you are responsible for checking and correcting your own mistakes so don't just push ahead blindly without checking that your posts show up with all the images they're supposed to show, in the correct order.
Your goal is to count out as much money as you can within 20 minutes. This is because exactly 20 minutes from the moment you join the Member Group 'A Trial to P(l)ay', the lawyers will have charged us so much for the effort put into watching you pay that the total amount we owe will be entirely different, and we'll have to pay them even more for the privilege of printing us a new invoice and scheduling a new appointment to continue paying next fortnight. So it's simpler to just accept that anything you post after 20 minutes have elapsed simply will not count.
If you manage to post enough money in that time you will win... well, ahhhhh... we're actually not sure what you'll win. One of the conditions of
All we know is that your performance in this Challenge is "RE: FWD: RE: A MATTER OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE" and that you should read all the instructions very carefully before you make your payment, if you wish to survive the next round. If you are successful, you'll also be a huge help to the Crew because right now we still have no idea what to do with the big spacious spooky fearsome imposing m*********** set we've been told to set aside for the next Episode.
You must complete this Challenge by 10:30pm GMT (London time) on Thursday.
Which works out to 5:30pm Thursday EST, and to 9:30am Friday AEST.
Do not discuss the Challenge in any way, shape or form.

So for all our sake, we wish you luck. If you have any questions, ask them below and we'll field them to our legal team, but you'd better pay them well enough to make it worth the frivolous question surcharge.
P.S. Player holding a 'Medallion of Power' Advantage will have an extra three minutes to complete this Challenge, for a total of 23 minutes.
P.P.S. All other Gifts you received in Episode 2 are now null and void, holding no power whatsoever, ever again. The Medallion of Power will also be used up at the conclusion of this Challenge.
