Well done for making it to a Tribe Swap where you now get to play with people you may or may not have already met anyway! Just another day in The Goes Wrong ORG, but perhaps a quieter one... for now... 7. Tell us about that Tribal Council that wasn't! What do you think/hope would have happened, had the Votes been read? And how did the Rooms format impact the course of the round? 9. How did you leave things with each of the remaining Team Suchet players? To what extent would you trust them, or want to work together with them in the future? 5. Did you follow, interfere, or even pay attention to anything beyond your own Tribe last round? If so, what did you make of the events on Team Rigg and Team Harris? And did anyone or anything stand out to you in your Rooms as particularly interesting, or important moving forward? 8. Give us your first impressions of your new Tribe! Who are you PMing for the first time and what do you think of them? Do you have any plans yet for how to play with (or around) the mystery, teensy Voting Rooms format?

I did see the note about shooting for the average but chose to ignore and just make sure I set a high score. And who knows, maybe I'm the only one that actually really tries hard and I end up being an outlier that drags the average so far out of whack that I actually end up as the only one above it. It could happen!

Also, having flood control on is absolutely insane.

Also, having flood control on is absolutely insane. We can't turn it off. I'd intended to mention it in the Challenge writeup, but only remembered as I saw the first person try playing it. So now it would be unfair to issue a warning to others... and we're all about fairness and logic here at The Goes Wrong ORG!

Getting invested in this game feels dangerous, maybe I shouldn't.

Maybe I need to make a more insane public confessional post to keep myself in the comfy throes of danger

It'd be extremely funny if Deer Head was lying about being told about winning the challenge.
I'm trying to decide how selfish and conniving I want to be with this though. Deer Head has to make his decision to save before he finds out whether or not his own group is safe, so this isn't quid pro quo, we don't actually have to rank him highly to possibly reap the benefits. Then again, it probably is still a good idea to rank him highly just in case I do land in a group with him, because then it would definitely come down to the rankings for my safety. So I don't even know what kind of selfish, conniving angle makes sense now. There's basically no downside to putting Deer Head at the top of my ranking unless I thought he might not make the other prostitution group immune, but I think he will.

I think I might have been thinking about this slightly wrong. If I'm in a room with Deer Head, the most likely scenario is that Deer Head just gets voted out based on what I'm hearing. So why rank them highly? On the other hand, if I'm in a room with Scrooge and Mrs. Wimblegate, that's basically hell, and so I should rank them as highly as possible to try to make sure we'd be immune.
Imagine I'm in the group of four with three other solid players and Deer Head's group is the one that ends up with the ranking immunity. That's not good! I'd rather be in the group with Deer Head that doesn't win immunity because I think in nearly every permutation of that Deer Head would get voted out. I would only be unsure of the outcome if the final person in that room was Margaret.
At the same time though I would like to see Deer Head survive and have everyone somehow make it through, so maybe I'll just go upper middle? Hmm.

Maybe I'm overthinking this but I may actually do something of a reverse ranking.

This voting room worked out nicely for me. I think all three of us will recognize right away that Deer Head is the one getting voted out, and we'll just have to wait and see how the rankings turn out. I'm definitely happy I ranked Deer Head highly now, and Mrs. Wimblegate and I should have both gotten decent results.
