Thanks all for the game. I was just a number coming in as I wasn't really interested in playing and had no idea about the show or characters but I eventually got into the game and gave it a crack.
Jonathan as Smythe, I don't recall if anyone mentioned you specifically but I understand David and Valerie were tight from the beginning so you would probably have a better idea of dynamics of Suchet than myself. I was in a room with Wimblegate and Crocodile after you were voted out and Crocodile was trying to organise a vote against Scrooge. Team Rigg reported voting with rewards from the first challenge in mind (a 50/50 idol and something else that could have created some kind of mayhem).
Prior to that, my experience was largely fighting against timezones.
When I first logged on, I heard from yourself (Smythe), Wimblegate and Lucy, before Lucy went batshit crazy and went off her tree at everybody. At first, I thought that was a character but it seemed like she cracked the shits at everyone and left the game before it really began.
At Team Harris, by the time I'd read the challenge and gone to attempt it, it was half complete. I was the last person in the challenge thread, which likely contributed to the first vote. I also found responses to my missives were slow, so connecting with people was difficult.
I was told the first vote against me was announced and players followed one another, not wanting to alienate anybody else. It was a disappointing exit to say the least.
Then came the cloud game. For everyone else's benefit, Smythe, Smee and I were faced with three clouds but we had to agree on the order we would choose them in. One cloud would eliminate one of us (Smythe / Smee / myself) from the game, one cloud would allow the recipient to eliminate one of the other two from the game, and the other cloud would return that player to the game. I didn't read the OP (sorry) and posted my choice in the thread only to have it deleted. As only Smythe and I were in the thread and it was late my time, I suggested we choose in the order we arrived in the thread, but Smythe and Smee had to agree. By the time I had arrived back the next morning, the clouds had been chosen and I was back in the game. As it turned out, (I think) Smythe and Smee agreed with my methodology, so Smythe chose first and chose the elimination cloud, I "chose" second and chose the cloud to return to the game (using my previously posted premature choice

), leaving Smee to choose the cloud to eliminate one of us... but only having himself left to eliminate.
Then came the rooms or as I like to call it, 'waiting outside while everyone else is talking inside'. Head Righter wasn't aware I couldn't see my room and I wasn't aware I even had a room to see but when I gained access, Wimblegate invited me to her room with Camille, Diana, Crocodile and I think Joe (?). As it was the first opportunity I had to speak to anyone from Team Harris, I asked Camille about my elimination while Crocodile was organising the Scrooge vote. I decided to use my room to speak to Wimblegate and Diana separately - Wimblegate as she was the first person in the game I had spoken to and I liked her vibe, and Diana because I wanted to speak to someone from Team Rigg and I wanted to get to know her more than Joe.
Then came the Defense, where we had three Team Harris, three Team Suchet and two Team Rigg. I was pretty happy to have landed with Isobel and Richard as that was a safe three votes when we only needed five to form a majority. Unfortunately, Isobel and Richard had moved away from me and closer to David and Diana, and Richard had vibed well with Robert, so I was on the outside looking in again as I was having to wait 12-20 hours for responses to my missives while other players were able to exhange them far more quickly. I knew I was in trouble when I had pitched plans to Isobel and Richard and neither agreed and Isobel told me she wanted to wait to see what Diana had to say, at which point, Diana hadn't shown for more than 24 hours! I suspect Joe was at the bottom of that group, then probably me, then Robert. I think David, Diana and Isobel had got to know each other quite well over that period.
Then the voting rooms, also known as 'the time Richard took two days to stab me in the face'. Unfortunately for me, real life had got in the way in the 24 hours prior to the voting rooms so I was not able to respond to most of my missives, including Diana, who had arrived between my last missive and the voting rooms opening. She did a fantastic job of subtly convincing Richard to vote for her but I was very confident in my logic of there being three guaranteed votes between Team Harris plus what was looking like an extra with either Robert on Richard's side, or Diana on Isobel's side. Unfortunately, Richard went with Diana, which I think was a bad move for him as he will be closer to the bottom of that group, but he might get to merge. Either way, if Isobel and Camille both make it to final merge, Richard is very much on the outside looking in, while Diana is a power player and liked by most I came across.
The final challenge saw Shawcroft, Mick, Tootles and myself having to rank each other to decide who to send back into the game. I hadn't hit it off with Mick or Tootles so I knew I was up against it. Tootles was voted out in the first round, then Mick, and Mick's vote ultimately send Shawcroft back into the game. Tootles had a fair point in saying returning to the game for a second time would put a target on my back as it would have been a great story to tell at FTC but I would have loved to have had a crack on the Prosecution tribe if I went back in as I had only met Camille, Wimblegate and Crocodile from that group.
Without knowing much about the other side of the game, I think Isobel, Diana, David, Camille and Wimblegate go far. I think Joe is probably next out from the Defense, though Robert might leave as I think David and Diana are closer to the middle of the group than Isobel and Richard are.
