Any Actor worth their salt is much like a loyal vassal to a Royal family: they must be able to follow directions flawlessly and without questions... even when those direction are
In this Challenge you will be given a line from a terrible and not even slightly noteworthy Script. You'll also be given some
So in each Stage, you'll get a set of instructions: a starting phrase and then three separate Directions.
You'll need to turn the starting phrase into a Trigger with no spaces, punctuation, or lowercase letters, and then apply each of the Directions in order.
For instance, if you were given this:
Start with: "This is an example!"
Then:
1. Type it backwards.
So 'EXAMPLE' would become: 'ELPMAXE'.
2. Insert the letter T after every set of three letters.
So 'EXAMPLE' would become: 'EXATMPLTE'.
3. Delete all vowels.
So 'EXAMPLE' would become 'XMPL'
Then:
1. Type it backwards.
So 'EXAMPLE' would become: 'ELPMAXE'.
2. Insert the letter T after every set of three letters.
So 'EXAMPLE' would become: 'EXATMPLTE'.
3. Delete all vowels.
So 'EXAMPLE' would become 'XMPL'
The first thing you'd need to do is convert the starting phrase in the instructions into a potential Trigger, like so: THISISANEXAMPLE
Then you'd follow the first Direction, turning it into: ELPMAXENASISIHT
Which the second Direction would turn into: ELPTMAXTENATSISTIHTT
And then the third Direction would convert that into: LPTMXTNTSSTHTT
Then you'd post 'LPTMXTNTSSTHTT' which, if correct, would Trigger the next Stage of the Challenge. This final Trigger is the only one you'd need to post; you don't need to show all the steps you took to reach it - just post the correct Trigger to move on.
So the critical thing is to make sure that you follow all the instructions, to the letter. In this example, following just one of the three Directions would get you ELPMAXENAISIHT, THITSISTANETXAMTPLET, or THSSNXMPL - all of which would be Wrong. And following just two out of the three Directions would get you to ELPTMAXTENATSISTIHT, LPMXNSSHT or THTSSTNETXMTPL - all of which would also be Wrong.
If you post an incorrect Trigger then nothing will happen - you'd need to look back, see what you've missed, and post again with the error corrected, in order to actually Trigger the next Stage of the Challenge.
When you're ready to begin, simply join the Member Group 'The Most Lamentable Script' to receive your first set of instructions. Hopefully you'll then be able to avoid any errors along the way, and simply post the correct Triggers to move through each Stage until eventually you Trigger a finish image instead of a new Stage. At which point you'll be done with the Challenge.
Whoever finishes the Challenge the quickest, as measured from the time they join the Member Group to the time they post the finish image, will win a Hidden Immunity Idol to play at the conclusion of this Episode and override the need for the Actor of their choice to inspire any lines of poetry.
However, we're going to implement a 40 minute time limit on this Challenge. We expect the winning time to be not even close to that, but in the event that you get stuck at one Stage or another, we don't want you second-guessing yourself for any longer than that. If we need to break a tie between players who did not reach the finish image, the winner will be whoever reached the latest Stage, or whoever reached that Stage the quickest.
You must complete this Challenge by 9:30pm AEDT (Australian time) on Monday.
This works out to 10:30am Monday GMT, and 6:30am Monday EDT.
And slightly less than 24 hours from the timestamp on this post.
Do not discuss the Challenge at all, until after the deadline.

If you have any questions, ask them here. Otherwise, I look forward to having an objective measure of how 'well' you can all read and follow instructions
